Trip to CA
I went to California over the weekend. I had some business to take care of so it was a quick trip, flew in on Thursday and back out on Saturday. I enjoyed some time with my family and just hanging out. Here are a few pictures of a new mall called the Fountains in Roseville that we visited.
I had a good laugh…we visited a yogurt shop called Spoons in Roseville. They had a small, tastey, selection of yogurt. The funny thing was…above each yogurt dispenser was the flavor of that particular yogurt, followed by the words “Fat Free”. After dispensing yogurt into your cup (a small wasn’t really that small), you headed over to where to “fatty” things were…a counter filled will all kinds of toppings from chocolate syrup to crushed candy bars to candy sprinkles…every fatty candy you can imagine (this shot only show half of it). I thought it funny that they appearantly tried to stress the fact that the yogurt was “fat free”, it would’ve been nice to see a large sign above the toppings that stated “here, these are the fatty foods…”. However, I must say, it was very tasty…I don’t even remember what I put on mine….candy sprinkles…some crush twix and kit kat…I think that was about it…on top of vanilla yogurt…yum!
PTO President.
This past friday Susan became now our newest PTO president. Last year she was secretary, however this year she was nominated and voted to be the president. She is president for two school and has two vice presidents which are over one school each.
Jacob?
Yes, Jacob was with us while camping, the reason you don’t see any pictures of him was because I kept my phone in the car (the phone I took these pictures with, we forgot our actual camera). Taylor wanted me to take a picture of the snake so after I got my phone out of the car, I started taking pictures of the rest of our trip.
We all had alot of fun, Jacob was having fun playing football and kept wanting us to play. Saturday morning most of us were playing a game of football…that’s the picture I would’ve taken, had I had my camera with me.
Camping…boy it’s cold…
We went camping this weekend. We went with a friend of ours from the ward. We all had a great time…however the low was supposed to be around 39 or 40. When I check the temperature in the car, it was 46, that was an hour or so before we went to bed, so yes, it was cold. The high was around the high 70′s to low 80′s…it was beautiful. Here are some pictures…
Taylor and Sue found a baby snake while walking through a grass field:

Here’s the show (click to see a larger picture):
The salmon were spawning, I count about 6 or 7 in this picture. They were all over in the river:
So cute:
